Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. She has starred in a variety of TV and film shows like "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman known as Christy Huddleston. In addition, she is well-known as the lead in"The Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. She began acting in the age of seven when her aunt, a nanny in Michael Landon's family, helped Martin to be a guest star on the TV show Father Murphy. When she graduated at Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the small screen and big. Besides being an actress, Martin is an accomplished photographer and ballet dancer. As a mother to two kids, she's become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has been spreading the word about Lupus since the time her sister's death due to the disease at 19.
